Mussoorie is a very famous hill station of India and there are numbers of tourist destinations where you can go:

One of the famous destinations in this hill station is the Gun Hill. This is supposed to be the second highest crest of Mussoorie. There is a beautiful and adventurous 400 meters rope way to this point which is just a must take experience.

The Municipal Garden is one such spot in Mussoorie which you should take a visit to. There is a man made small lake in this garden which is really a splendid piece of work. there are many beautiful waterfalls in Mussoorie which are very attractive and striking to watch. Jharipani Fall is also a beautiful place which is about 8 to 9 kms from Mussoorie. You will see a magnetic waterfall of about 1.5 kilometers. The Bhatta Fall is also an ideal picnic spot. Another waterfall which is visited by lots of tourist is the Kempty Fall. This fall is supposed to be one of the biggest waterfalls in entire Mussoorie which is surrounded by beautiful mountains and deep and steep valleys all over. You can also take a bath at the foothills of this falls.

You will find an amazing Nag Devta Temple here which is just about 6 kilometers away from Mussoorie. You can take a vehicle directly at the spot. You will get to see the startling and incredible sight of the Doon Valley from there.

The Mussoorie Lake is a very popular spot for picnic. It is very near to the main city and you can reach there very easily. The sight of this lake is very charming and enjoyable.

How To Reach Mussoorie

In case you are planning to make a trip to Mussoorie then there are many options which you can select.

The nearest airport to this town is the Jolly Grant Airport where you get regular flights from Delhi. From the airport you will find lots of taxis and auto rickshaws going to and fro to Dehradun. And via Dehradun, Mussoorie is just 2 hours away.

There are many express trains that you can link Delhi to Dehradun and then you can get a local rail to Mussoorie.

You can also reach Mussoorie by road as it is even less than 300 kilometers from Delhi and Dehradun is also very nearby to this wonderful hill station. You can catch a bus as there are lots of them at a time interval of 30 minutes.
