Ranthambore National Park

One of the most dynamic tourist destinations in Rajasthan is the Ranthambore National park which is located near Sawai Madhopur, a small township which is situated in the middle of Kota and Bharatpur city. This national park is spread over an area of over 39,000 hectors which is approximately equal to 400 sq. kms. The Ranthambore National park was founded in the 19th century where it was recognized as a sanctuary in 1955 and then in 1973 it was well known as the tiger reserve of India. It gained the stand of a national park in the year 1981.

The Ranthambore National park is surrounded by the beautiful and wide ranges of Vindhya and Aarvali and you can also see the extensive Thar Deserts from this park as it is located on the outer edges of this huge desert. This is a memorizing park which has a very magnetic view of bits of vegetation grown in some parts of the park and rest is a complete desert area. The Ranthambore National park is recorded as the one of the most important reserve of the tigers under the Tiger project and thus you can say that this park is well known for tigers.

This national park has the most splendid view in the entire region and the lakes and rivers present there are simply the add-on to the scenic view of this park. The view of the Ranthambore Fort that was built in around mid 10th century is a must watch and is simple outstanding.

Another aspect of the Ranthambore National park is the unconquered forests and the open terrain. The Dhok tree present there is very famous and the view of dried forest is superb. When you will enter the Ranthambore National park you will find Jogi Mahal straight at the end and its foot is the resting room. After that you will find the second hugest banyan tree in India and it is just mind blowing. Then the journey continues with the sight of the Padam Talab and then comes Raj Bagh Talab which is simply beautiful. Then comes the Malik Talab which is also a must view sight of this palace. The entire sight of this park just is not possible to explain in words. When you have a look at the broken walls, old wells and rustic porches you will just be stumbled.
